Decorative heavy brass letters. Originally part of an external fixing to the outside of a “Trans Europe Express” train.
Trans-Europe Express (TEE), was an international first-class railway service in western and central Europe that was founded in 1957 and ceased in 1995. At the height of its operations, in 1974, the TEE network comprised 45 trains and connected 130 different cities.
Ideal for resting on a shelf as a playful decorative statement. There are also bolt holes on the back which would allow fixing to a wall or boards.
