Wolf collars come in varying styles, they originated in Greece to protect their dogs from larger predators. Early depictions of the collar can be found from as far as 8,000 years a go. They were, at the beginning, formed from linen but over time, with an increasing high regard for dogs in a number of cultures, these collars became more ornate and often reflected the status of the dogs owner.
