Original paperback “Flagellation in France” by British publisher Charles Carrington. Charles moved from London to Paris in 1895 due to censorship restriction in the United Kingdom, he pursued his filthy writing whilst he lived there.

This book is from a medical and historical standpoint. Age related wear with a very delicate spine. Illustration page plate “conjugal correction” was later bound in this edition. illustrations were later published under a separate portfolio.
