Cap Cane Hornier. 19th Century.

The cane's shaft is formed from the vertebrae of either a small shark or a sting ray. Bovine pommel and ferrules. All vertebrae in place. Natural felexibility. Cap Cane Hornier / Swagger canes of this nature were often created by Sailors and gifted to their Captain. A handsome example, in wonderful condition. Suitable for light impact, but certainly more of a collectors piece - something to be treasured.
